Missions of PINS’ New Boss


JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – PT PINS Indonesia (PINS) just convened a General Meeting of Shareholders last week.
One of the resolutions of the corporate act was replacement of CEO Prasabri Pesti by M Firdaus.

Prasabri will continue his career in the parent entity, Telkom Indonesia, while M Firdaus that replaced him will release his position as EVP Telkom Regional VII that recently serve Eastern Part region of Indonesia.
“Alhamdulillah for this mandate. Now we perform new tasks and challenge in PINS,” said Firdaus to IndoTelko vis SMS, Thursday (2/3).

Please note that PINS is the backbone of Telkom in dealing with IoT business currently growing in Indonesia.
PINS has entered into cooperation with the world principal in preparing reliable IoT platform, thereby in the future IoT products such as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Smart Building, and Smart City are able to be enjoyed by the market well. They will strengthen Telkom solution product line known as Telkom Solution.

Firdaus said, the public has begun and known about fast, easy and efficient service. “It means there is quite fast development in digital business era and it encourages quite ample business potential in Information technology business,” he said.
PINS will do its best to take the opportunity from the continuous growth of digital service adoption by IoT solution it has, he said.
”In the future, there will be ample growth of IoT services business, that is why PINS’ vision is to become a company leading in this service. Of course as a Telkom’s subsidiary, synergy among Telkom’s subsidiaries is highly required to provide end to end service. To this end, we from PINS will strengthen this synergy ,” he ended.

His record indicated that he gained many rewarding achievements when performing tasks to serve eastern region of Indonesia. One of them was his success to monetize the backbone of Sulawesi Maluku Papua Cable System (SMPCS) that the result was about 12 thousand customers of broadband IndiHome in Papua. In addition. Firdaus also presented fiber optic service in four icons of Eastern Indonesia Destination viz, Raja Ampat, Bunaken, Wakatobi, and Samalona. The latest, supporting digitalization of the actors of Micro-Medium Business (UKM) through development of Kampung UKM Digital.
